We believe in upfront, transparent pricing. By operating a modern, decentralized mobile practice, we pass our lower overhead savings directly to you. We bring the law office straight to your dining table, hospital room, or corporate office.

1. Base Notarization & Commissioning Fees

Our base fees apply to standard, in-person witnessing, statutory declarations, affidavits, and certified true copies.

Please note: All fees are subject to 5% GST and 7% PST as required by British Columbia tax regulations.

2. Mobile Travel & Call-Out Fees

Because we travel to your location, a travel fee is applied to cover travel time, fuel, and vehicle maintenance. We use a tiered zone system to keep travel costs predictable :

For Zone 4, driving distance is verified via Google Maps routing. Mileage is charged at the 2026 Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) prescribed rate of $0.73 per kilometer.

3. Premium Surcharges

Specialized environments or schedules require additional preparation, security clearance, or administrative time :

  • Hospital & Senior Care Facility Visits (+$35.00): Applies to visits at Abbotsford Regional Hospital, senior care homes, or hospices. This covers the extra time required for facility check-in, clinical safety compliance, and patient cognitive capacity evaluations.
  • After-Hours & Weekends (+$40.00): Applies to appointments scheduled between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM on weekdays, or anytime on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Emergency Late-Night & Holidays (+$150.00): Applies to urgent requests booked between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, or on statutory holidays.

4. What You Need to Prepare for Your Appointment

To ensure a smooth, efficient, and legally compliant signing, please prepare the following :

  1. Two Pieces of Valid ID: Under the Law Society of British Columbia rules, we must physically verify your identity. Please provide a primary government-issued photo ID (e.g., BC Driver’s License, Passport, or BC Services Card) and a secondary signed ID card (e.g., credit card).
  2. Do Not Sign in Advance: All documents must be signed physically in the presence of the lawyer/notary.
  3. Ensure Mental Capacity: For Wills, Powers of Attorney, or Representation Agreements, the signer must be alert, oriented, and fully understand the legal nature of the documents they are executing.

5. Payment Methods & Trust Regulations

We accept payment on-site immediately following your appointment. We only accept:
